The legend who brought you the seminal Clockwork LP is back and badder than ever. Skynet systems have been reactivated on Full Force with an absolutely thunderous piece of work. The intro features deep, atmospheric pads alongside sparsely layered synths which are accompanied by a razor sharp drum line. A rhythmically punctuated bassline enters at the breakdown, energetically roaring to a climactic drop. His trademarked, golden-era tech-step sound has been revamped to today's production standards and beyond with a virtually flawless and simple approach to the composition, arrangement and mix. This track will surely have both old and nu-skool heads thrashing on the floor.

The flip side sees Brighton-based heavyweights Allied remixing Skynet's "Atlantis" from the vaults of Full Force's rich back catalog. Erie strings set the vibe with the emergence of a subtle dubbed out stab line creeping in to maintain progression and flow. Tension in the breakdown is provided through ascendingly filtered elements preempting fat drums and booming subs at the drop. The techno influence of the original piece is retained with twisted stab lines introduced in an ingeniously progressive fashion. Allied has come through with a very DJ-friendly and masterfully produced remix which will undoubtedly bridge any transition in a set.

FYI: This release is available in both vinyl and digital formats. Big things coming from our camp. Keep an ear out for Chook's absolutely insane remix of Skynet's Mind Eraser as well as a remix 12" from myself and more and more goodies in store for the near future!
