| speak to me alexia ;p ile sort ya out ha ha :p i got reason 4 its ok but people in the trade know a reason tune a mile off and dont really dig it for some reason..reasons ok but not very straight forward to begin with..acid pro is a really good loop based programme but you will need soundforge to edit your beats with to put into it..fruity loops well thats every jump up fans choice i presume lol maybe cos its got good synths for b lines and is piss easy to use too..abelton live rocks but you need more ram than you think to run it, cubase is good but hard to use aswell as all the other studio based programmes are..why they make college and uni courses to learn them ;) to be fair alexia a course would do you the world of good..i have a mate here whos bought 6 grands worth of studio equiptment expecting me to show him how to use it??? yeah right i aint got that much time on my hands and ile prolly rip his synths off anyway ha ha ;p hes had this stuff for 2 yrs now and sitting there doing naff all all cos hes to proud to do a college course that i will add is in the same street as where he lives lol..the mans loaded but still wont take the course lol.. |

| for beginners ide say fruity loops or acid pro...maybe the both cos you can save loops in fruity and chop em up in acid til your ears bleed from aural pleasure lol |

Ive noticed Ableton Live hasnt got a mention. and for Acid question, ive used it before, used to make beats on it all thetime, its ok, bit annoying with structural layouts, everythins a bloody loop!
lol but one major benefit is using acidized loops, pre-warped samples.
as for live, It rocks.
Nuff said. |

| Hard to say really, depends on the individual, ive used stuff from acid pro to cakewalk to rebirth ' if anyone remembers that' to reason, theyre as good as each other, only just got back into fruityloops again after many years without a desktop. the laptop wasnt powerfull enough for what i planned |
